Pastelle Laser Explained
What concerns can Pastelle treat?
Pastelle is a highly effective laser treatment suitable for skin treatments including:
- Enlarged pores
- Post inflammatory hyper pigmentation
- Dermal toning
- Tattoo removal
- Photo rejuvenation
Known as the soft peel of lasers, the carbon
facial helps with exfoliation and
to enhance the complexion
and reduce imperfections.
Liquid carbon is applied, which is left to
set for 5 to 10 minutes to absorb into pores.
The laser targets the carbon,
which implodes the carbon particles.
For pigmentation treatment, the specialized Pastelle laser is attracted to pigmentation in our skin. The laser breaks up and shatters the darker colored areas and uneven skin tones, which are then eliminated by our body’s natural process -
the Lymphatic System.
Dermal toning uses heat to directly target the second layer of skin where it stimulates the body’s own collagen production.
Tattoo Removal works by a process called selective photothermolysis.
The laser targets the pigment of the tattoo in the skin and
effectively shatters the ink into small particles,
which the body’s immune system removes over 6-8 weeks.
Laser Tattoo removal can be a painful treatment.
We use a Siberian cooling system, which cools the skin
while the are is being treated to reduce the level of discomfort.
There is some recovery time associated with tattoo removal
including swelling and possible blistering.
How does Pastelle laser technology work?
The Pastelle laser provides high, consistent output while performing laser pigmentation.
The Pastelle is a highly efficient and safe laser to treat all types of pigmentation concerns, acne and acne scarring, toning, and tattoo removal, among others. To treat enlarged pores and wrinkles the Pastelle also performs a soft laser peel and free running (FR) peel.
The Pastelle laser delivers energy to target tissues in shorter bursts than regular lasers, which disturb the cells containing pigment within the skin. The Pastelle is ideally suited to pigmentation concerns including tattoos, sunspots, freckles and birthmarks.
Pastelle is able to offer a range of treatments due to its various modes and wavelengths, being:
Functions in the skin’s dermal layer and suitable for melasma and tattoo removal.
Functions in the epidermal and uses shorter wavelengths. Suitable for freckles and age spots. This wavelength also targets red tattoo ink.
This wavelength targets blue and green tattoo ink.
Suitable for anti-aging including wrinkles, pore size and whitening. Functions as a rapid free flow laser.
How long will it take to heal following Pastelle laser treatment?
One of Pastelle’s greatest benefits is its minimal side effects
compared to other laser treatments. There is no downtime
after treatment with the Pastelle,
and treatments with injectables
can be performed two weeks prior and two weeks post.
Clients may experience some mild redness.
Makeup can be applied immediately after a treatment and
clients can return to their normal skincare regime,
including active products, 2 to 3 days after treatment.
